ASCi Lifesaver of the year award – 2023
This morning at our monthly safety meeting we gave out the first ever, Lifesaver of the year award to Michael Rodriguez.
Michael has been with us for a few years as a Commercial Driver, specializing in delivering oil from Wyoming to the plants as well as end dump aggregate work.
Last April, at our monthly safety meeting, Arturo from Chavers had a medical emergency during a presentation from United Power and Michael took complete command of the situation to make sure that Arturo got the help he needed.
Michael was given a certificate, a $50 gift card and will have this hard hat presented to him in recognition.
The certificate reads — “This award is presented to Michael Rodriguez for demonstrating extraordinary courage and leadership on April 21st, 2023 at the Fleet Maintenance Building. Your swift response during a co-worker’s diabetic emergency showcased unparalleled dedication to the well-being of others. Through your decisive actions, a life was saved. Your commitment to the safety and welfare of your colleagues sets a remarkable standard. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your outstanding service and heroic efforts.”
